"We had a nice stay. The apartment was well equipped, the pool area was very nice, and the locking bicycle area (with tools) was helpful. It is a good base for many of the cycling climbs in the area around La Massana. It is possible to walk from the apartment to La Massana and Ordino."

"It was in the center of town and close to the things we wanted to do. My negative was that there is no A/C in the rooms and apparently they don't use wash cloths, we used a hand towel to bathe. "

"Chambres très grandes et balcon agréable; pour le reste, pas vraiment le niveau d'un 4*: pas de clim (il a fait très chaud pendant notre séjour, et nous avons eu chaud la nuit malgré la fenêtre grande ouverte), peu d'articles d'hygiène (2 bonnets de douche, 2 x 3 mouchoirs), non renouvelés quand on s'en est servi!. "We have stayed at Xalet Verdu for short stays on several occasions and different seasons. It´s a no-frills but comfortable place to stay. The rooms have always been very clean and in good condition. The buffet meals are not extensive in choice but are very good value. The hotel is at the top of the village and is a short walk from restaurants, cafes and bars, shops and the gondola ski-lift to the Pal-Arinsal section of the Vallnord ski area. "Staff was very friendly and concerned. Best breakfast I’ve had on this 2 month trip. Good location for the off season and would be a great location during the ski season!! Don’t hesitate- we’ll worth the stay!!"
